It stands for Slow Movers On Campus, our former guitar player Paul's magnum opus about people with seemingly no hurry to go anywhere.
The first of our collaborations with our friend Kelly Wayzer. His "studio" at the time was a closet in the top level of his apartment (yes, apartment) in Pilsen. We recorded straight into his four-track tape machine in one pass in a single afternoon, and it took ~ 6 hours total. This was supposed to be a single, but Kelly really wanted to record Insane, so we tracked it and made it an EP.
